    Hello guys, how’s it going? 🌴🌊☀

    If there is a place where we go CRAAAAZY wanting to take more and more photos is the beach, right? And what a woooonderful coincidence it is that it’s precisely the place with the BEST lighting, perfect scenery, we always look radiant and happy while we’re there, and the pictures get fantastic quality as a result. MAGIC! hahaha!

    But what good is all of this help from nature, if at the time we’re there we can’t come up with creative and interesting poses? 😩 It seems that every time we decide to take some pics on the beach we always get a bit shy, and nothing cool comes out of it. Happen to you to?

    Hey girls! How are you doing today? Hope everything is well!

    I’ve been looking for some photo ideas with hidden face to get inspiration for a photoshoot I’m having this weekend. I have to say, I love faceless photos, always been obsessed with them.

    I feel like they have a really cool unpretentious feel, and you can imagine the subjects expression any way you want. It’s also a great way to avoid revealing your face when you’re just not feeling great about it. Which lets be honest, can happen to all of us, right? 💖

    Faceless aesthetic pics are so popular too. Viral tumblr photos often had that characteristic, I remember falling in love with this type of photo back when I was on tumblr all day aesthetic hunting 🪐✨

    I know, family photo ideas are easy to find online. It turns out though that the vast majority of the references we find are not very cool and “posed” photoshoots… And that’s not quite what we’re looking for, right?

    When I went to research images to make this post, I spent so much time hunting for more natural and creative options without being overly posed to inspire our future pics with our parents, uncles, cousins, siblings, grandparents… 🌸 💖🌷

    And this is what I got!

    Beyond this issue of having a lot of professional photo essay photography posed, almost always, regardless of the search terms I use, the results are a super young couple with young children, in most cases babies. I wanted something more real, with real parents, adult children, people like us in the real world, living real life! hahahaha

    You couldn’t find much realistic stuff like that, but you could make an interesting gallery of inspiring family photos to copy that will improve over time.

    Hii! How are you guys doing? 🧡

    I’ve recently made a post here on the blog about aesthetic photos with shadows, where I spoke a little about the importance of opening up our eyes to the beauty of imperfect images.

    On this post today, I’ll show you examples of wonderful photos where the main object is blurry, out of focus, or simply not easily detectable and understood.

    I particularly love images like that, I feel that there’s so much emotion added and that those images have almost like a soul ✨✨

    So I selected a few examples to show you what I mean. I also suggest ready the post I made here about tumblr aesthetic pics. I elaborate a lot about this subject on it! 💜

  • HOW TO EDIT: POLAROID

    Hi guys, good morning! How are you all doing today? 💞

    A good way to change your blog designs and your Instagram pictures a bit a give them a unique look, is to simulate the polaroid effect.

    • Instagram Polaroid

    I don’t mean just adding the white border, but the real thing. When it looks like you took a photo of a polaroid picture just laying there haha! This is an excellent strategy for when we’ve already posted too many photos of an event, or a trip, and you don’t feel great about posting YET another one… Influencers and celebrities do this all the time ☺✨

    At the end of this post I’ll upload 8 png polaroid files with clear background that i’ve made especially for the blog! I’ll also teach you how to insert your photo in the frame for a super realistic result. Spoiler: It’s very easy 🧚🏽‍♀️💖

    🦋 Update: This post ended up being so successful here on the blog, that I wanted to complement it with two pieces of information!

    1. Meitu, my favorite app in the world, has a border option, which is a perfect Polaroid frame. Super recommend for those who want something easy and fast!
    2. I made an Instagram feed (my current obsession) using polaroid frames, so I’ll take this opportunity to post it here to inspire you guys… =)

    Here’s how you can use the png polaroid frames below with Photoshop:

    If you don’t like learning with videos, below is the step by step:

    1. Open the polaroid image with Photoshop
    2. Import the photo you want to insert inside the frame
    3. Position the photo layer below the frame layer
    4. Adjust the photo to the size and angle to fit it perfectly
    5. If you’d like, edit the photo to match the background of the polaroid frame
    6. You can also use the frame’s white area to write something.
    7. Export your file as jpeg ou png.
